The District 5 Leadership meeting was held December 17, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Handley-Meadowbrook Recreation center. City Manager David Cooke opened the meeting. Councilwoman Gyna M. Bivens said, "You will see neighborhood leaders leading as they participate in several panel discussions focusing on matters of interest to citizens throughout the city."
Fort Worth native Dionne Anglin of FOX 4 News served as moderator as neighborhood presidents, police, and other community leaders addressed the following topics:

After the Commander speaks, the Lancaster Ave. PID Board will present their progress and plans for the renewal development of Lancaster Ave.
The June meeting was the team from North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and the presentation below details how they will work with the PID and citizens for input on future development of Lancaster Ave. "The time is NOW!"
