Wanda retired from the newspaper business & marathon running. The annual Scholarships are named in her honor because Wanda is the biggest little cheerleader for East Fort Worth!

Angela is branch manager at Southside Bank on Rosedale. My goal is to give a positive banking experience while serving and empowering my community. She is one of the first faces you see at the meeting check-in table.

I've spent 25 years in the non-profit sector and am currently the CEO of Clayton Youth Enrichment, a Tarrant County-based afterschool enrichment program serving 7,000 students annually. The agency's vision is to prepare children for great lives by using their time with Clayton to enhance their social and emotional health.

I am retired, after a 32-year career at Lone Star Gas as the Fort Worth executive officer, and 10 years as a higher education executive. My favorite part of those 42 years is now my post-retirement job: community service.

Brandon is Chief Development Officer at Trinity Basin Preparatory. "The Vision of Trinity Basin Preparatory: Provide meaningful educational choice to families across Texas. We do this by building and maintaining a system of charter schools that are academically successful and financially strong. Trinity Basin Preparatory will be a safe, sustainable, innovative, and successful charter district, empowering students and their families with educational opportunity."

Charles Hodges. Director, Fort Worth ISD Family Action Center. After a 30-year career in public relations and corporate communications working for several Fortune 1000 companies, the native Fort Worthian started working for Fort Worth ISD in a community relations and family support role. His favorite thing today is helping facilitate behavioral, mental, physical and community resource support for east side students, families and residents.

Colin Weatherwax was selected by the Board to serve out the remainder of Malcolm Wentworth's term on the board. Malcolm passed away on April 18, 2022.

Mike is the second generation of Whisenands to run the 22-acre stone yard on 820 in East Fort Worth. Family-owned Whiz-Q-Stone is the largest retail stone yards in the state of Texas, offering homeowners and contractors the highest quality natural stone, hardscape, landscape, waterscape and outdoor living products.
